You will need a Windows 2000 or 2003 server to run IIS (web server) and access to a Microsoft SQL database. If you have an existing SQL database that has extra capacity, then we can use that, else you can install SQL on the same server as the web server.
(note that the same web server and database server can be used for FIDO, CMA and CJApanel)
The clients need to have Microsoft .Net 1.1. Typically your remote courts are on the same network and can run the application without an issue.
Below is a general guideline to setup a new internal web server for this:
1) Install Windows 2000 or 2003 SERVER (Make sure to assign this server a fixed IP address)
2) Install IIS
3) Install SQL server 2000
4) Install SQL service pack 4.0
5) Go to Windows update and do all critical patches
6) Go to Windows update and do .Net install
7) Run C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_regiis.exe –i
8) Setup SQL daily maintenance jobs
9) Turn on SQL agent to auto-start
10) Restore starter Database
11) Run CMAPatcher
12) From a workstation, browse to your [server]\CMAweb and login as ADMIN to do the final configuration (add users and directories and assign rights).
13) Send an email to your users with there login name, password and link to download the workstation file.
