FIDO is a web based judgment and financial application that assists in the preparation and printing of judgments, recording of receipts, financial processing and calculations. Probation officers can have restricted visibility into payment and status of the defendants and the US Attorney’s Office can have receipt reports automatically emailed to them.

"We reviewed what we had and realized we needed a better solution. There is the ever-present promise of CCAM that will integrate all of the pieces but this will be years before it meets what FIDO does now."
David Maland, Clerk of Court U.S. District Court Eastern District of Texas
"FIDO has been a great tool for our court. The system captures each step of the criminal debt process and continues to roll that information forward so it can be centrally stored for other uses. Probation and the FLU units are able to access the data at their convenience instead of waiting for the finance office to send defendant payment histories. Basically, the creation of FIDO allows the entire district to work more efficiently."
Leanne Kipp, Financial Manager U.S. District Court Eastern District of Texas
"FIDO is a total solution to our JC initiative. FIDO tracks all aspects of a judgment -- from defendants to victims, from payments by defendants to compensation for victims. It handles complex joint and severally cases, and is able to track multiple victims in multiple cases accurately. Our courtroom deputies can input information easily and quickly through the web-based system, which automatically transfers necessary data to Finance. Both Probation and the US Attorney's office can call up payment information on a per defendant basis, and the US Attorney's office has a report automatically sent to them with no user intervention needed. FIDO has definitely helped us be more efficient!"
